Jake Orall of Earthbound Sound (frontman of local hometown heroes Jeff the Brotherhood) will be DJing late night at The Grind. Earthbound Sound blends the best of danceable world, exotica, post-disco music while staying true to his punk rock background. He’s 1⁄2 of Jeff the Brotherhood, and he usually doesn’t go anywhere without his drummer, brother, and best friend, Jamin, so why not bring him into the mix…

Brett Douglas Hunter is a self-taught artist living and working in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from Illinois, he comes from a family of self propelled artists and builders, seemingly destined to be a maker from the beginning. He dove head-first into the world of sculpture, making weird and wonderful creatures using a fibrous concrete mixture.
Alex Lockwood makes abstract sculpture from colorful material, often repurposed or recycled.
He builds with one primary component which is repeated many times to create patterns and structures. His material is often recognizable (bottle caps, shotgun shells, bread tabs and lottery tickets) though not always immediately. A familiar object seen in unfamiliar numbers can be alien at first glance, and Lockwood finds power and beauty in presenting commonplace material on an uncommon scale.
Alex Lockwood is a self-taught artist from Seattle, WA. He lives in Nashville with his wife Genie and their two sons Roman and Oscar. His wife is the owner of Arcade, a kids clothing and toy store in Nashville, TN.
Yanira Vissepó is a textile artist located in Nashville, TN who utilizes hand carved blocks to create imagined scenes, patterns and symbols on a variety of different mediums. Richly textured and transformative of the spaces in which they reside, Vissepó’s patterns take many different forms — from hand-painted and block-printed murals to framed and free-standing tapestries, as well as works on paper.
Brooke Powell aka DJ Astrobrooke is a shop owner, funk-o-phile & disco dynamo hailing from Nashville, TN. A crowd favorite at hip Nashville night spots 308, Duke’s, LA Jackson & Rosemary + Beauty Queen, Astrobrooke has also served up stellar vibes at The Nashville Women’s March Pre-Party, Grimey’s Record Store Day & Porter Flea. She’s even warmed up rooms for superstars Margo Price & Jack White! When this DJ’s not digging through crates or driving the wheels of steel she’s operating STAR MART – a store stocked with the best in vintage clothing, LPs, tapes, books & more!
Profesoras–Meg Perry, Liza Yorke, and Annie Amundson–is a DJ group based in Nashville, Tennessee. Real-life teachers by day and party mixers by night, this trio delivers an A+ vibe that will make anyone wanna party… perhaps even on a school night.

Biet Simkin is the founder of Center of the Cyclone Meditation. She is inspired by the rare and almost impossible task of entering into the present moment. She creates epic meditation experiences around the globe and scores them with her own music. She doesn’t pretend you are a fucking lotus flower and speaks to the human experience.
She Biet Simkin is the Founder of Center of the Cyclone Meditation. A spiritual teacher and author, Biet was raised by an awakened Shaman to meditate as a toddler and has been practicing meditation and studying spirituality for over 30 years. Signed to Sony Records at the age of nineteen, she lived the rock ‘n’ roll glam life in New York City for years, until she finally fell to pieces as a heroin addict. In rapid succession, a near death experience, the tragic deaths of her infant child and father, as well as a fire that burnt down her home, propelled her to sober up. As she moved from meltdowns to miracles, she began to teach meditation to private clients, eventually founding a one of a kind system, Center of the Cyclone™ meditation.
Currently at work on a ‘how to meditate’ handbook slated for a fall release under the Simon & Schuster imprint, Biet is one of only a handful of teachers in the U.S. qualified to bring meditation to the masses. Featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and numerous other publications, she has led mass meditations at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan, Sundance Film Festival, and luxury hotels from Los Angeles to the Amalfi Coast. In addition to creating in-room content for 1 Hotel, she has led workshops on how to meditate for executives from Sony, Lululemon, VICE, Adidas and Soul Cycle, to name just a few.
Today, Biet immerses audiences in meditations that weave stillness, fashion, and a sexy rock ‘n’ roll edge into seamless, explosive experiences. Uniquely, she scores her meditation experiences with original music from her latest release The Lunar, letting audiences bliss out on shimmering melodies and mesmerizing vocals. Whether speaking to a corporate audience, leading a meditation at a luxury hotel, or working with a private client, she brings the same power and spark to the spiritual world.Visit Website
